Bonding Lead


SUMMARY


Assist the Bonding Supervisor in daily management of the department, which includes but is not limited to meeting daily scheduled production, training all personnel and witnessing any disciplinary actions.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?include the following. Other duties may be assigned.




  • Manages department in supervisor's absence.?


  • Assists the Supervisor in meeting scheduled production, training personnel and handling any disciplinary actions.?


  • Attends daily production meeting in supervisor's absence.?


  • Assists other shift supervisors on any department needs.?


  • Assists on other shifts as needed.?


  • Maintains payroll records and attendance reports in Etime daily.?


  • Monitors and maintains quality standards and goals daily and implements corrective actions.?


  • Assists department employees with problems/concerns as needed and responds in a timely manner.?


  • Implements and monitors safety procedures, department housekeeping and production scheduling on an ongoing basis.?


  • Assists with preventive maintenance and minor mechanical repairs as needed.?


  • Coordinates batting deliveries to outside vendors as needed.?


  • Assists Scheduling Department as needed.


  • Any other duties as assigned.?



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


Assists Supervisor in supervising 10 to 15 employees in the Bonding Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws in the absence of the Supervisor. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One year related experience and/or training preferred.


LANGUAGE SKILLS




  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.?


  • Ability to speak effectively before managers, supervisors and employees of organization.



MATHEMATICAL SKILL


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


REASONING ABILITY


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS


Bloodborne pathogens training; First Aid and CPR certification. Powered Industrial Truck certification, Lock Out/Tag Out training, Dock Lock training, Radiation training, Confined Space Training.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES


Ability to use computer programs such as KRONOS, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel necessary. Strong interpersonal skills required.? Must maintain good attendance.? Must conduct the duties of the job in a courteous and professional manner.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and risk of radiation.? The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud, not requiring hearing protection.



 


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
