Material Handler - Shipping-Weekend


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?include the following. Performs various duties related to manufacturing from unpacking of raw materials, distributing raw materials and/or in process work to others and staging of finished product before shipping.




  • Unpacking raw materials and placing in designated areas (shelves, pallet racks etc.)


  • Transporting raw materials from storage to vicinity of area it will be used


  • Transporting semi-finished product from one area to another


  • Transporting cut fabric, polybags, etc. to individual operators


  • Staging of boxed product in preparation to ship


  • Assists in clean-up of manufacturing area and grounds including snow and ice removal


  • Performs duties of general help as required



Material handlers, in most cases, will be assigned to one or two areas of manufacturing and are expected after initial training to perform with minimal supervision.




  • Lunch break will be designated by management


  • Will be required at times, with proper notice, to work mandatory overtime.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
